Meet the dream team behind the festival
SELINA MCCALLUM
FOUNDER AND FESTIVAL DIRECTORSelina is an ambitious filmmaker, photographer, videographer and social media manager who admires digital storytelling. She was born and raised in Toronto by her Tanzanian mother and Jamaican father. Selina graduated from the University of Windsor with a double degree in Digital Journalism and Communications, Media and Film. Selina works full time for the Toronto Arts Council as the Communications Coordinator and at Street Voices as the Social Media Manager.
CATHARINE HORSLEY
FESTIVAL JURYCatharine is an outgoing film fanatic who is incredibly passionate about the film industry. She loves exploring opportunities while connecting with like-minded creatives and the community. She currently works in film; her main goal is to become an Assistant Director. When Catharine isn't watching films or networking, she also finds joy in writing, reading, DIY projects or crafts, and cooking.

KELVIN OMARI
FESTIVAL JURYKelvin Omori is a Canadian filmmaker and entrepreneur passionate about using storytelling to inspire social change. He earned a degree in Communication, Media, and Film from the University of Windsor (2015) and a Directing Certificate from UCLA (2019). His journey in film began in 2016 with an internship under the renowned Director X.

FESTIVAL COORDINATORJewayne is the Festival Coordinator for Leverage Lens Film and Art Festival as a coordinator! With a background in advertising and a talent for keeping things organized, Jewayne is passionate about the arts and seeing creative people thrive in their element. Her recent studies in advertising have sparked a passion for event and project management, and she can’t wait to help deliver a film festival experience that’s seamless, vibrant and unforgettable.
DANIELLE Lewis
FESTIVAL JURYDanielle is a vibrant and seasoned actress whose work spans the gamut of performance traditions. A learned educator, producer and arts facilitator, she has been privy to the awesome power of the arts to transform a person. She is excited to join the Leverage Lens team to further the unique work of filmmakers.
